Alan Herjavec Elected Member of the Management Board of ELTI
Alan Herjavec, a Member of the Management Board of HBOR, was appointed a Member of the Management Board of the European Association of Long-Term Investors (ELTI). By electing Alan Herjavec to the Management Board of ELTI, the members of the association expressed further support to HBOR as a long-term partner in encouraging long-term investments.
At the extraordinary General Assembly held in Madrid on 20 and 21 July 2023, the new President of the ELTI association was elected: Dario Scannapieco, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of the Italian Cassa Depositi e Prestiti.
The General Assembly took place as part of the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of ELTI under the slogan "Together we can do more!". HBOR was one of the co-founders of the association, which today has 32 members from 21 EU member states, 2 candidate countries and 2 international financial institutions, whereas the European Investment Bank is a permanent observer in the association.
ELTI has the role of a spokesperson for its members in dealings with EU institutions and bodies, especially in terms of promoting long-term investments aligned with the goals and initiatives developed by the European Commission to encourage sustainable and inclusive growth.
Through its membership in ELTI, HBOR participates in the creation of common standpoints of reputable financial institutions and is at the source of all relevant information in the field of financial, political and legal initiatives and measures implemented by EU institutions.
