Alan Herjavec, Member of the HBOR Management Board, Participated in the Panel „Financing the Green Transformation in the CEE Region\"
„The Green Transition in the CEE Region“ summit that took place on 21 June 2023 in Sofia, Bulgaria brought together high-ranking representatives from the economy and government bodies of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, as well as representatives of the European Commission, the EIB, the IMF and commercial banks that participated in panels with an emphasis on energy connectivity, financing the transition to a low-carbon and circular economy, biodiversity and innovation, and related legislation.
Alan Herjavec, Member of the HBOR Management Board, participated in the panel "Financing the Green Transformation in the CEE Region" with Lilyana Pavlova, Vice President of the EIB, Geoff Gottlieb, Senior Regional Representative of the IMF, Tsanko Arabadzhiev, Member of the Management Board of the host bank BDB, Patryk Darowski, Director of Industrial Risk and ESG of BGK, Larisa Manastirli, Director at BSTDB and others.
Mr. Herjavec presented HBOR's activities in the field of financing sustainable development and the measures implemented by HBOR to encourage the Croatian economy on the path to green transition, and informed about HBOR's strategy and the development of new products with favourable financing conditions and measures from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP).
Within the panel, via video link, Mr. Sergei Stanishev, a Member of the European Parliament since 2014 and former Bulgarian Prime Minister (2005 - 2009), interviewed Vice-President of the European Commission Mr. Maroš Ševčovič on "green issues".
