Business Cooperation Agreement on Interest Rate Subsidies Signed with Split-Dalmatia County
On 12 April 2024, Business Cooperation Agreement was signed in Split between the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the County of Split-Dalmatia on subsidising interest rates for micro, small and medium-sized entrepreneurs under HBOR's loan programmes: Youth, Female and Start-Up Entrepreneurship and Private Sector Investment.
The Agreement was signed by Suzana Laušin-Katanec, HBOR’s Credit Division Executive Director, and Stipe Čogelja, Deputy Prefect of Split-Dalmatia County.
A subsidy of 2 percentage points will be granted to entrepreneurs whose investments are implemented in the territory of Split-Dalmatia County for loans approved from HBOR’s funds directly or through commercial banks.
After the signing of the Business Cooperation Agreement, in cooperation with Split-Dalmatia County and Split County Chamber of the Croatian Chamber of Economy, an interactive workshop took place, where the programmes and aids of Split-Dalmatia County were presented together with the financing opportunities for entrepreneurs, local government units and utility companies as well as the Guarantee Programme under the NRRP measures implemented by HBOR. Interested entrepreneurs and representatives of LGUs and utility companies asked questions and received all necessary information for financing their ideas and projects.
