Increase in Lending to Mid-Cap Companies through Guarantee Agreement with EIB

HBOR and the EIB signed a new EUR 50 million Guarantee Agreement that will enable HBOR to assume additional risks and increase lending activity in the amount of up to EUR 100 million to mid-cap companies in the manner that the EIB's guarantee will rise from 0 to 50 per cent in proportion to the increase in the amount of newly approved loans.

Through the risk-sharing model, the EIB shall cover part of the existing HBOR's portfolio and thus reduce the exposure towards individual sectors and clients, which will lead to an increase in direct lending to Croatian entrepreneurs.
